My OH had him in it a week ago bouncing energetically away, suddenly it went quiet and when he looke he's nodded off in it mid bounce!! Photo evidence of that one for when he's older! lol. He holds its nose and bounces whilst chatting away. It took him a few weeks to understand that he was meant to bounce but its a life saver, he absolutely loves it now, especially when i hoover around him and put a large talking tigger in front of him. We were also told to start him in nthe door bouncer for 10 minutes at a time. We could only put him in the bumbo for a short period of time though becasue as he wasnt into his sitting yet he would crumple forwards and the pressure on his tummy made him bring up milk. We put my DS in the bumbo seat and the door bouncer when he was 3 1/2 months old as he could also hold his head up well etc.
